Heritage Days Festival

Elliott Family Farms is a 4th Generation Farm interested in keeping the art of molasses making alive for future generations to enjoy. In 2008 we became one of the 231 agritourism farms located in North Carolina. Agritourism farms allow visitors to see what grows on a farm, take part in educational or recreational activities, and see up close North Carolina’s agricultural lifestyle.

Our Famous Heritage Days Festival takes place the 1st weekend in October each year. Featured events have included tractor pulling, antique tractors, hit & miss engines, molasses making, an old general store, black smith shop, corn grinding, log cabins, cider press, quilting bee, homemade apple butter made the old fashioned way, hit & miss ice cream, a petting zoo, hay maze, face painting, potters at work, live bluegrass music throughout the day, and MUCH more....
